iphone4 - do it at the shack!

Just got my iphone4. Radio Shack is offering up to $106  for your 3g 8g iphone. It makes the 2yr contract re-up more bearable and you can walk with a mini computer in your palm! The difference between 3G and 4 is spectacular! It's almost as much as the initial going from a blackberry to an iphone. The 16gb is amazingly fast. Internet browser speeds rival any desktop. The features in email of recognition of dates and addresses are nice too!

Theres no release date yet but rumors are: hi-def screen, led flash, video conferencing. Now were talking!!! See more

Dish Remote Access is here

Apparently just released to the app store is a new free app called Dish Remote Access. Not only can you control what to record but it can also be used as a remote control but only if your DVR is connected to your LAN. Its limited to transport commands but better than nothing.  If you already have an online account , just download the free app, login and VIOLA! You can instantly see your Recordings and the programming grid for setting up recordings. The remote controls are hidden under the more selection along with filters, today, search and more...

Utilities

Dropbox offers a cool service that lets you store and sync files online, so that they’re accessible from multiple computers. The standard install creates a folder on your.desktop with public and photo areas. Add files to this folder from any device and they're synchronized across all devices within seconds..Macworld editor-in-chief Jason Snell made a video explaining the awesomeness of the service earlier this year. Now, with the company’s free iPhone app, you can access your Dropbox files on the go.

Skip the formalities and go here to install PC component
